Wiki question

Hi everybody, I have a question... I am an absolutele newbie, only started Blending last week (thanks to Jennifer's classroom, thanks everybody who is so helpful in there!) and I am trying to follow the excellent tutorials in the wiki. I have learned so much already, my head is spinning. I have noticed one thing: the truly gratifying moment is when you create your first plane with a tree and a cone, and export it to Uru and walk around it. Ah, that feeling, even Yeesha can't have been that proud of herself :D

However, for somebody not VERY computer savy, the wiki might be a tiny bit intimidating (I am easily intimidated anyway), I started with "Your first real age" and the tutorial is excellent! But I have to admit, it is rather hard for somebody (like me) who is a complete beginner.

I don't want to come in here like a bull in a china shop, so I will put the question here: would anybody mind if I added a tutorial in the "For Starters" section, that explains step by step how to create an ABSOLUTE basic age, just how to add a book, create a plane you can walk on, create a spawn point and export your age? Now that I am still in that stage, I can still appreciate the overwhelming feeling of being lost, lol.

Once people know it can be done, they can start experimenting with the cool stuff, such as adding trees and cones and the likes :D

There is no reason for you to not do this if you want. I had thought about adding a "Your First Room" tutorial to be a bit more basic than Trylon's "First Real Age" tutorial, but time always seems to get away from me.

Anything added to the Wiki helps, and you don't really need to ask permission to do that. Just log on, create the topic and make your tutorial you're talking about. I'm sure many beginners would be thankful for it.

Sophia, that sounds real great!! I too find the turorials a bit hard (especially since english isn't my native language) and 'a newbie view' would be much appreciated!
I'm still struggling with Jennifers lesson 5( I think) - 'Do a porcupine' ... well, this is what I made  Image A PIG :(
... talking about newbies here... :) :) :)

Not to worry Sophia, it gets easier, just take one step at a time.

When my Ahra Pahts shell is finished, I plan on doing a write up and upload my blender, python, etc files so that its more understandable as to why I did things the way they are

I just feel as though as you say the First real Age is daunting, and learning from the functional test age very antiquated.

I'm not an expert at Age making myself and I have had some success with making levels before coming here, all in all you can't put all that info onto a wiki, there is just way way too much information to assimilate, hence I often use Google to find the tutorial, method, plugin that I need.
