Office Open XML is an Ecma standard and proposed ISO standard.

If what you have can't read it, it has problems :)

could you open the document and then re-save it as Powerpoint 2002 format ... and then upload ... I really dont want another 27MB of Microsoft cr*p on my machine ...but I DO want to see the file ... ;)

Microsoft offers a small compatability patch that lets you open office 2007 files with earlier office versions - just search on their download site it should be there :)

Or the Powerpoint Viewer 2007.

I doubt this will help me to open that file with OpenOffice on Linux...
