IRC down?

Is the IRC server down?

I havn't been able to connect for a while now.
Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

Hoikas is/was having hardware woes. It should be back in a bit.
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

Yes, umm... I had a few hardware failures in my computer... And I controlled the server from that computer, so...

Yeah, it hasn't been a fun week for me.




Let's not even talk about how the UPS truck carrying the replacements crashed into a light post.

Kinda nice to know that I'm not the only one having hardware issues. I've been trying to track down the cause of spurious lock-ups for quite a few months now. Just decided the heck with it and ordered the hardware to upgrade my system to 3 year old tech.

Trust me on this, upgrade your drivers, particularly your video drivers, I had this problem to no end till some IT pro told me about that.
Also it could be your powersupply not giving out enough juice, bare minimum these days is a 600W power supply for a single video card

550W in my new system works just fine ;)
