For several days now, I'm having problems accessing the Forum. Specifically early in the morning (around 6 to 8 am EST ) and late at night (around 10pm to 12am EST). Like just now. Took me over 15 minutes to get in to the forum and to access this part of it to make a post.

What's going on?

I'm not having trouble anywhere else on the internet. Just this forum.

Andy, its not you. I'm having the same issues. (same basic time frame as well) I'm running Mozilla, and occasionally get A Mysql error page telling me to try and again and if the problem persists to contact the website administrators.

The issue is a known one, and we're looking at solutions.

Believe me, it's annoying for everyone, and the sooner we can resolve the issue, the happier everyone will be.

I've been having problems now for about 3 weeks, just had an error just now

Too many connections [1040]

Also I can't log onto the IRC chat, for goodness knows how long

Yeah thats the same error I've been getting the last two days Grogyan.

Er, if it's a "known issue", can we know too? Just curious as to why it does it is all.

"Known issue" in the sense that we know it's happening.

GoW runs on a shared server, so it's possible that another account happens to have a database on the same server that's blocking connections. We've had a few suggestions from people for how to resolve the issue, and we're looking into them.
