I recently sent an approval request for my age, expecting permission for personal use only, but I think I just got approval for uploading it:

:o I... can it be? After all this time?

Right. I'm going to email cyan legal right now! I need to get back to work on Terrati!

This is the standard legal answer they give when a use of their assets for anything (website or whatever) is requested. I'm surprised they give this for an Age.

I thought that they might have made a mistake, too. The thing that confused me the most, though, was the beginning:

Cyan grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-assignable and non-transferable license to expand upon our properties in the form of added story lines, characters and events for "free" internet/web distribution only under the following terms and conditions:

Most things do not require expanded Myst storyline. All the same, does anyone know a Cyanist I could PM?

well i assumed that the added storylines would be like the story of galamay, which uses myst principles and is set in the myst universe, but is not the main storyline (or is even remotely related to it), making it a new storyline added by a fan. ;)

I doubt were back in business. That looks to be the same legalese I got back when I first put up the DRS website. And the Third Party Works portion is what was sent I know to Age of Illithid. Though I would assume when they do get their stuff together we will all receive something similar. I know I have yet to receive anything from Cyan in regards to Ahra Pahts for some time now.

For Ahra Pahts, did you remember the return address? I waited a month after sending my first approval request before I realized my mistake. Here, one day after my second E-mail, I get a response.

You're right, though. I think I should send a request for clarification, just in case.

PS. All legalese sounds similar, though it's all quite different.
