Guild of Writers

There was talk a while back of the GoW assisting the GoFA as far as board infrastructure and some other stuff. The summary of the things proposed were, essentially:

-an art server for GoFA and GoW members to upload/share images
-a separate GoFA forum hosted by the GoW, with a membership exchange between the two forums for interoperability

I think a GoFA wiki might also be nice! (Though it wasn't mentioned in the proposal.)

Tweek seems to be busy with other things right now, and I'm volunteering to get things moving meanwhile. I think that just having a board of some kind is 90% of what we really need... but I don't want to start increasing membership/activity at the current board if that board is only going to be temporary.

Is/was anyone working on this? Is the GoW too busy to implement this right now? If you're able to help out, I'd like to know some sort of time table so that we can make plans; if the GoW is not in a position to work on this in the next several months, it may be better for us to go on as things are for now and work on pooling resources later.

I don't see why not, The proposal from BAD and Hoikas should still be valid. We are in the process of electing an Art councillor, which should move things along at a faster pace.

We do have a texture server here, it was done by Tachsuzamm and it works perfectly well. For some reason, there is talk of having another one but I don't know why.
