Guild of Writers

This first post is just going to be a teaser. I don't have an age name because My Age is going to be in 3 pieces. If each piece is on its own island, then it will have three names.(The first one Amperia {Still working on the name}) If they're all on the same island, it will be named to something they all have in common.
I'll add more teasers later on. When I get access to a scanner, and I make a photobucket, I will post some of my crude kindergarten style drawings of the Age.(I'm serious. They could hang on my mother's refrigerator with a gold star and a "Good job" smiley face on it.


This is directly from my notebook. It's a first person visual of the Age. No eagle eye God vision here.

You link into a room with a ladder leading up and an open door to the outside. The door leads into a canyon with a small, trickling stream. You go up the ladder to get a better look and find yourself on a metal platform. On the platform is a lever.(What does it do?) Surrounding the canyon is what appears to be an electric fence. Outside of it, you can see fierce desert beasts roaming around.(If I can, I'll put a couple Urwin in there) Now you look into the canyon. There is a giant metal corkscrew attached to a small machine.(Maybe a turbine of some kind?) Just below it on the cliff, there is a metal room jutting from the side with no visible entrance.(I guess that means there is an entrance inside the canyon) Farther along the canyon, there is a giant water wheel, but it's not rotating because of a lack of water. About 20 feet away from that is waht appears to be a dam. There's an opening on top and a door on the canyon floor. Surrounding these structures are various buildings, tubes, bridges, and safety cones. In the distance beyond the fence is a lake with mysterious stone structures. On top of one of the cluster of pillars is a giant metal building. There's no way to reach it without being someone's snack. In the distance, barely visible, is a rain forest jungle. In the middle of the jungle is a Giant tree. From its bowl shaped crown, you can see water gushing out at an alarming rate. It's feeding a rivder which feeds the lake which pours into the canyon.(As long as the dam is open of course). It hits you then that this place might be a power plant, but what does it power?

How's it sound so far? I need to write more narration. Consider this my public Age concept development. As I write these, I'm building the concept of my Age which is the first stage of the Age writing process.
