Is there any aspect of Drizzle or of PyPRP that would allow me to test an Uru Age and/or adapt Uru for use on a MacBook? It might be a long shot, I suppose.

No, Drizzle and PyPRP will not help you there. To actually play uru on a Mac, you need either wine or some CrossOver product. I am using wine on Linux which works great.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.
