Has anyone ever used Raven's Tutorials over at http://www.cobbs.ca/bbs I ask here because I have had problems getting answers from that forum. The Reason I am asking about if anyone has used these tutorials is that some of them call for using textures that were on a Photobucket account and that account no longer exists, so I am trying to find if anyone has some (Or all) of the textures that were housed on that site.

Any and All help is appreciated. Thanks

I used some of Raven's tutorials. Though I never used any of the changing textures tutorials, sorry.

Maybe Kirk's old mirror site has them.

All of the Tutorials are on there but unfortunately they do not include the Textures for them.

Bear in mind that those tutorials go back a long time. We now have tools that make it a lot easier to hack into existing Ages.

The new textures were not that special anyway. If I remember correctly it was a cleaned up version of the city which attempted to simulate a restoration. However, all those scratches, cracks and stains are the aspect which gives ages their realism. Remove them and all that remains is a lifeless, sterile place.

As age builders we are trying to add imperfections and flaws on purpose. It makes our ages look used and lived in.

I also have an archive of all tutorials and all of Ravins screenshots previously on Photobucket these images run to circa 65Mb in 144 files.

I don't think I got to the updated textures Ravin did a lot of stuff the wiki won't let me upload the .TTF fonts
