Editing Relto Question

I was looking through the relto sdl file and noticed in among all the yeesha page settings there is one listed, but marked out as a note, called a second bookshelf. Was this something that was planned for the future of URU? If so would there be any way to add a second bookshelf? or is this just some reference to the shelf with the journals on it?

As a side note I always wished I could add a book or 2 of notes to that journal shelf in relto, though I know this will probably never be possible.

That one was (if I remember correctly) copied from MOUL - I think there was a thread somewhere at the GoW discussing that Cyan planned to add a second shelf at the same place as the first, with some kind of toggle mechanism.

With the "journal shelf", you mean the one at the right? That is just a normal shelf, without any dynamic control, so adding a book there is exactly the same as adding anything to any Cyan age - it can be done in theory, but it's a lot of work.

Ah Ic. Personally I think an additional shelf would have looked better than toggling between 2 shelves in the same place.

And yes that is the shelf I was referring to by saying Journal Shelf. Without asking for to much detail on how to do it, but to add something into a Cyan age, does that age have to be ported to Blender then add things to them like that, or is there a way to create things and input them into CYAN ages without having to do that?

Basically, it works like this: You import the age into Blender (using some modified version of PyPRP). You don't even need the textures here, the important thing is that you know what is where. Then you model the new objects, and export only these new objects into a new prp file, which can then be loaded in Uru - and as imported the original age, they will appear in the right place.
For more details, you will have to ask someone who already did this, e.g. GPNMilano.
