MOUL/Until URU Question

First let me start of by saying I was not around during MOUL or Until URU days so sorry if questions like these have already been answered.

Ok, My first question is are Until URU and MOUL basically the same files, or is Until URU closer to URU:CC (OR one of the other offline versions)?

If someone has all the old MOUL files (Like the ones used for conversion purposes with Drizzle) is there any way to make them playable as an offline game, like how you can an Until URU Install by replacing 2 files with 'fresh' URU:CC files?

And Lastly I have been told that there were bahro avatars during MOUL, were there any Bahro Avatars in Until URU?

Thanks for any and all insight into my questions.

No, MOUL and UntilUru files are very different. UntilUru is quite similar to Pots/CC though, yes.

To make the MOUL files directly playable, one would need to write a MOUL server. But Drizzle converts all the new Ages for play in Pots/CC anyway, so between that and Cyan saying they will give us the source for the MOUL server anyway, there isn't too much interest in doing so.

No, there are no Bahro avatars in UntilUru.

There you go!

Actually, the networking protocol of UU and POTS is *exactly* the same with the exception of very few type IDs which were incremented by 1 (which is why Alcugs can support both clients - I hardly test UU however). UU is the newer version though. And the prp format is also the same (to convert a UU prp to a POTS prp, you have to edit only 1 byte: the version number), TPOTS knows some more object types though.

The networking protocol and architecture of MOUL on the other hand is completely different though and can't be compared to the others.
