Hi,
I recently decided to reinstall Uru:CC and have been unable to find my game saves/character files. As much as I love this game, I really REALLY don't want to have to start from the beginning. I've played through this game several times already, and all I really want to do is explore and show my little brother all the cool worlds he never had a chance to see yet.
So, I was hoping someone here might be kind enough to lend me their game save file, preferably with the game complete. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My email address is

Starting from the beginning thats half the fun. Let your little brother experience the story all the do dads the music and machinery involved in the ages. Let him Meet Yeesha, do the Gahreesen jump with him. Wow I would love to go threw Uru CC for the first time again

Completely agreed, If you were to just install the completed files now, you'd be cheating your little brother out of a great and fun experience. Replay the whole thing together with him

It may not be necessary to use save files.
Using the off-line KI, you can /link directly to any Age, you can use flymode, and the offline KI has cheat commands for getting the journey cloths, etc.

I can only agree the general tone: I played Uru like 10 or 15 times (and I know others did so way more often), and almost each time I discovered new details and gimmicks wondering "Hey, was this already there when I was here last time?". You can't experience the full quality of the ages when playing through it only once. For example, I only recently discovered that Laki actually features a solar eclipse - I never saw that in Myst V.

Agreed. Play it again with your brother. You discover new things ALL the time. I remember when I first pushed the stone out of the way in E'rcana's pellet room hallway. Someone watched me from the other side and had no clue that you could do that even in POTS. You'll find little things ALL the time that you don't notice the first time through. That's the nature of Uru, developers specifically have talked about little things that they put into it to make it seem like the worlds are constantly changing, because they're little things that you will not notice on the first cursory play through.

Could it be that this someone was me? It was the 3rd or 4th time I played through Er'cana that I saw someone else doing this - I always took the long route before

Back during that failed experiment when Game Trap were running things and we had a shared Er'cana for the first time in ages June of "The Meeting Place" asked for some help in doing E'rcana.
So I went along. You need to understand June has game issues in that she has various disabilities that make it difficult for her to do in game jumps and moves that involve anything that requires quick keyboard skills.
We were running the age with team speak for voice communication.
Wherever posible when I was doing this sort of guided age (I did a few) I allways tried to find a location and talked them through the actions rather than just go to a location and use the avatar to point.
The rock in Er'cana was one of the best because I was able to stand on the wrong side and verbaly guide June to the location and watch June push this rock. June who has been to most of the US Myst meets and also to one in the UK was phenominaly empowered by being able to do this in game and to have a witness to the event.
One of the reasons I have been interested in writing ages is eventually to make more of these puzzles where players can use their avatars to work together reguardless of the players phisical ability.

Perhaps it was. I just remember the persons surprise. I'm sure that stone though solicited the same reaction from a number of players. It was so cleverly hidden that you could actually MOVE it out of the way from the other side that many probably didn't notice until they physically saw someone else do it.
