Guild of Writers

Hey all,

Just wondering -- I know that under RAWA's guidelines, it is possible for Writers to work on parts of the Cavern and other D'ni-related works, as long as they are not explicitly tied to Cyan's content.

My question is: has anyone done that so far?

You mean connected physically to Ae'gura? The answer would be no. Cyan wants Ae'gura left alone. Now there have been city locations that are in the city, akin to a balcony link. I.E. there in the city but not physically connected to it.

Kaelis Pub Office is an example of a city location that is not connected physically but is in the city.

No, I meant what you said -- areas that are supposedly D'ni-made, that are in the Cavern but not connected to Ae'gura. I wanted to check them out.

On Kaelis, I have a small inspection over at GoMa for it.

I've built a couple of areas, The Tehren Neighbourhood and the D'ni Jazz Club Pub (aka Stonecutter Pub), but that's about it.

When might we actually see them, Tweek?

Depends, The DJC pub is being overhauled as it was based on the Kahlo model, but with Kaelis' pub being the same I was worried about it being saturated so I figured I'd build it from scratch so it's more unique.

As for Tehren that depends on several things (Cyanwise, and my storylinewise), currently it's a private location for TTP members only, but I know Paradox keeps bugging me about it

This would be correct. The office is in the Dorehn neighborhood. I've been meaning to step up Dorehn for a release but several other ages are tied to it's storyline and purpose, so, though it's pretty much ready for an official final release, it's being delayed till I get the other ages near completion.

The idea has always been to release Dorehn first, then each of the ages one at a time over the course of a month each, and to update Dorehn's SDL to turn on the linking books from there to the other ages as they're opened up. The ages and Dorehn are planned as a both online (Shards) and offline experience. Think MOUL based releases only if they were for Until Uru

There's also a Pub i'm working on (A Guild pub). And a cafeteria that's in J'Taeri. The last one was kind of a spur of a moment thing from the first days of MOULAgain when I complained about wanting the cake and everyone told me it was in the cafeteria, so I made one with cake.
