There Is A Room

Postby Wamduskasapa » Wed Jun 16, 2010 1:48 pm

There is a room that we have all seen. A room that a few of us have visited. A room that measures about 7 by 10 meters. But, one that is currently unavailable to the average person to visit online. It is an obvious addition to MOUL and one that CYAN obviously was going to make available to us, otherwise it would not have been so well textured and proportioned. I am of course talking about the Takotah Meeting Room. I propose that it be made available for actual visitation to show the average Cyanist and player what can be done.

Sure major work must still be accomplished, BUT All basic textures have been completed and music has already been written. Plus The Skills and Tools to accomplish this do exist. And I am sure some within this enclave may have already accomplished this. I suggest that the one among us who has the closest connections to Cyan be the one to ask for and get their permission to accomplish this..

This room existed in Uru Complete Chronicles.
Currently getting some ink on my hands over at the Guild Of Ink-Makers (PyPRP2).

The room has existed since the "To D'ni" Expansion Pack. Or should I say it was visible from the Spy Room. But we have not had "direct" access to the room, nor have we been able to walk around within it. Except through trickery..

Possibly ~ a linking book could be found that would allow us to link into it??...

EDIT: As it exists right now the current KI may be used to establish a relative plane to walk upon. The way I have gained access, is to utilyze that ability. First link into the Spyroom - then press the ESC Key, and position myself within the Meeting Room. Then I press the F2 key twice, move a few spaces back and forth using the arrow keys. Then press the F2 key to make the KI disappear. Wallah - I have thus establish a plane to walk upon...

At the time I wrote the title I was thinking of The Kingston Trio: They Call The Wind Maria

Way out west they got a name
for a city called Ae'gura
within a cavern under ground
ect...

But since I have listened to yours I like it better

It is an actual room, and if you consult the above screenshots you may see that you are able to move around within it. Furthermore there are 3 "open" linking books to Teledahn, which could be modified to reflect other ages.
