Cyan is not an artist though. It is a company.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Yes, copyright is normally a civil matter. (I.e. not criminal.) I really wouldn't describe either shard as illegal, though of course, Cyan is free to bring a lawsuit against admins. Whether it would succeed or not would be a tough question even for lawyers, I think. In any event, I would say that you don't have to worry about anything illegal on either shard.

A love this sentence.
It's sums up quite well the whole Age Builders activity ;)

It sums up Cyan's support for them through the years.

We need to make this our motto. It's almost an endorsement.

Cyan has never sued us

Hmmm I feel a poem coming on

Cyan hast and doth not sue
They've their own venue
Whilst they do eschew
We follow our own menu
to plot and create a rescue
of our beloved URU

Like most of what goes on here, this is still a gray area that could easily be summed up with the above-mentioned sentence.

Cyan knows we exist and assuredly knows what we're doing. As long as nobody is a getting express-mailed "Cease and Desist Order", then it's a back-handed form of support. As I said in another thread, Rand himself has praised the work of Age Builders long before MO:UL or OpenUru was ever a possibility, so I think a lot of naysayers can be silenced just by pointing to some quotes in the interview at the back of the Prima Guide for Myst V.

It's just you. (I should qualify that) It's just your view of it.

To join DI I need to install a fresh CC and at the moment I can't be arsed. (Excuse the anglosaxon) ;)
