Yes, we've tried that multiple times.

The problem is that when the person turns it on they start jerking and twitching all over the place and it's no good trying to get an answer from them after that. So that's why we need more people to try it so that we can figure out where the problem is.
I'm no electrician expert so I can't help you design that puzzle; but (at the risk of stating the obvious) I do hope that I won't need to be one to be able to solve it either..
Well, what we really wanted to do an ingenious puzzle where you had to add up a bunch of voltages until you got 59 volts, but in the end we decided that it might be a bit arbitrary. But not too worry, the puzzle shouldn't be that difficult, especially since we've incorporated a virtual graphing calculator into the interface.
Much easier, and it cuts down on the amount of journals required to solve the puzzle considerably.
