The short answer is no. Not only do the tools developed by the GoW to get the files into the game work only with Blender, but the free verson of Sketchup doesn't have a fraction of the higher level editing tools Blender does, and is completely incapable of producing the quality of age we're accustomed to. (/shameless flattery :D ) I can't speak for the paid version, but I presume it suffers from similar limitations, as it's designed more for architectural work than for animation and game modelling.

Having said that, I bet Sketchup would be quite useful for preliminary blocking and such, if you feel like adding an extra step to your process. To convert the files, I seem to remember that you have to change the .skp file extention to .zip, and then use an ordinary plugin to import to Blender.

You can also export as COLLADA(.dae) from Sketchup and import that in Blender. But really spending your time to learn Blender would be more useful.
