I would like to make some changes to the textures of an age but there is a problem: I don't know what objects belong to some textures.

And now my question: Is there a way to find it out if I know the object's name?

If you're using Blender, you can use the Outliner to find individual objects. Then, you can simply go to the materials/textures tabs to find the texture name(s).
