I don't have the offline Uru. Should I buy Uru Complete Chronicles? Does it have anything to offer that Myst Online can't provide?

Complete Chronicles offers a better experience for the PoTS ages, IMO.

Plus it has all the fan-ages ;-)
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Aren't they beginning to be "converted" to MO:ULa (if that is the appropriate term)?

Yes, I hope that one day, they will all be available for MOUL, too. But currently, they are not. Which is why I personally prefer CC/TPOTS. YMMV ;-)

@ Lyrositor: This URU:CC game is available for what...3 USD?

Yes it's worth the buy.

With that game you can use Drizzle tool to enhance your offline experience to add ALL the fan ages available to the public + all Myst 5 EOA ages + some other games too (not Myst related).

You can, with your GOW forum account, become a member of the Deep Island Shard (DI), offering the same as stated above but offering you also an online experience. Note that all the admin commands are locked on DI.

You can also send a email to Dustin (look for his email on his member profile) to enter his shard (UAM Shard) offering almost the same content as DI. Same applies with admin commands.

The last possibilities is to become a member of TOC TPOTS shard by going thru the process the TOC team gives on their website. The content is a little bit different for some obscure reasons. TOC team only seems to maintain the server prefering only improving their new baby: TOC MOUL. Nevermind...since today TOC TPOTS should be as up to date as DI is. Same applies with admin commands.

URU:CC offers a whole different experience to the URU Universe than MOUL. Some like it, some don't. I'm in the first group.

Sweet! I just got Riven for under $3 Australian - no more swapping cds when I play this one. I could spend a lot of money at that store but my boss will get a bit cranky with all my downloading!
