...sigh. My heart's not quite in it. Good job, lads. Nice change to match the main site theme. =P Can we please have hello kitty back, though? or maybe a nice [[Message Redacted]]? =D

The main thread is here. I didn't notice if they really asked the users about the change, but since the old one is still available, that's no big deal.

The actual theme change was discussed partly in Enhancing Wiki Tutorials and in great length in the IRC channel. Yes, there weren't many announcements, but a surprise once in a while is nice, isn't it?

yeah I didn't see that the kitty was gone. There must be a spot for him somewhere, we have a big banner half used with shots from fan age and two 10 cms panels with nothing in it on each side.

And virtually no one got the joke.

This thread was a joke thread lampooning threads such as these:

@Karkadann I can do one better - I had a version of the message redacted banner made for the wordpress theme already - so... I adapted it for the forum header... and made a new vector version of the hello kitty image you posted.
