Adobe offering Creative Suite 2 for free, but they didn't me

Postby Chacal » Sat Jan 12, 2013 11:09 am

Earlier this week Adobe made a surprise move by putting its Creative Suite 2 software, as well as individual programs like Photoshop CS2 and Illustrator CS2, up for download on its website along the corresponding serial numbers.

Is this a 30 trial version or the full version?

Seems to be an unprecedented great offer, thank you, Chacal ... :P

I've downloaded some of those, Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator so far, not for me,
but for my brother, who wasn't available atm ... I've installed the Photoshop prog on my
Win7 64-bit, not on standard C, but on a different partition easily and all works fine so far ...

They even offer Premiere Pro 2, the prog Marten used to compile and edit the Prologue videos ... 8-)

Those programs and the Suite are proclaimed as full versions on german sites, and Adobe
even offers german installations ... So, as Chacal said, grab what you need while you can ... :D

I found whenever you open Photoshop CS2 that you're being presented with a registration screen,
even if you again and again choose 'Do not register' it keeps coming back ... :P

I googled this and found that this was also an issue back in the days when people had even registered
that product properly ... The solution offered was 'Turning off UAC' (User Account Control) in Vista
and another one I found was setting the executable to 'Run as administrator', which worked for my
installation ... :)
