as far as the seal I think this one is a good choice

Personally, I'd go with NoorMax's seal (the one in the quoted post), but just for the record, here was my version of a stamp if anyone's interestd:

I prefer yours to NoorMax's seal as that one includes the DRC logo, while the DRC isn't involved anymore really.

I too like this one a lot. It isn't an exact replica of the Guild of Writers' symbol, which means Ages don't have to be made by members of the Guild of Writers to be approved, but it still clearly emphasizes the Writing aspect to Age creation. Plus I love the sort of rubber-stamp like edges. :)

OK i guess Im outvoted, I figured for the sake of simplicity. but so far CalumTraveler's seems to have the majority.
unless any one else has any new entries or objections.

we seem to have ourselves a stamp/seal

No, Karkadann, you're not, for me this one is so incredibly ugly, but in general
I don't like to say sth like this lol ... I have to say though, in case he or anyone
would elaborate on this and make it a bit more clean, then, maybe ... lol ... :P

No, seriously, just try to decrease the size of this a bit and you cannot make out
anything anymore, it is too scratchy, but ok, that might be just me ... :)

Janaba's not wrong: size will be an issue, and Cal's design is still very busy in comparison to the DRC stamp, for example (which, with its very reduced and simple iconicity, strikes me as very successful). Having said that, though, I think Cal's seal is along the right lines: it looks a bit improvised, a bit rough-and-ready, which is probably right given what it is going to be meant to signify, and completely different from the DRC Arch-of-Kerath design. My suggestion would be to take out the glyphs between the outer ring and the pen-symbol, perhaps replacing them with something simpler, or merely leaving the space blank; if the latter, one could then perhaps increase the size of the pen-symbol a little to keep the proportions nice.
