Guild of Writers

after dl and inst., accepting terms and login i get freeze-screen and message:

Update failed: kNetErrFileNotFound
GameData/GlobalAnimations_District_kgldle.prp.gz

these Global Animation files are completely all set with 0 bytes.
i re-downlowded and installed couple times... no effort.

i assume there is a massive dl-issue. no files, no start.

what to do now?

Addon...Addon....Addon....

funny... i downloaded all 4 installers from Myst homepage....
installed them under different files... opened ....AND???
all of them have different zero-byte-files...

So i copied the missing ones from all different four installs , copied them into one and only and ...
it works

somehow weird.. but anyway...
but still no login in original myst-online
login-data assumed to be wrong.... FAIL....
created account, got verification email, but fail to loginto game.... forum works though....

any ideas?

Are you trying to install & log into MOULa, Deep Island Shard, Gehn Shard, something else?

If this is about Gehn, it sounds like you've run into a known bug. You'll need to run the Repair shortcut, possibly a few times, until it completes. Sorry about that! We haven't been able to track down the cause of this yet.
