How To Use Offline Ki?

Postby Skeet1983 » Fri Jun 16, 2017 8:19 pm

Hi guys, I am new to this Forum. I have some questions about the Offline Ki in URU. I have Uru: Complete Chronicles for Steam and recently installed the Offline Ki. I am confused about how to use it. How do I enter commands? I got console to pop up somehow, but no idea how I did it. Any help appreciated :)

Thanks for those guides. I looked through both, but didn't see what computer keyboard key brings up the console where you can enter commands. I saw some keys mentioned, but none pointing to console. Help appreciated :)

In the default key configuration, you can simply start typing. ;)

I started game, started typing a command and nothing appeared on screen. No text, nothing. Not sure what I am doing wrong... :(
My laptop has Windows 10 64-bit. Thoughts and help appreciated :)

I don't know about the fancy programing stuff but a good start might be to try typing

/help

into the KI chat box, thats assuming you got the KI from Gahreesen
The Offline KI is "I believe" an extension of the KI you get in Gahreesen as far as functionality go's
The Optimist see's the glass half full, The Pessimist see's the glass half empty.
Its the Realist who see's the glass is half full with air, half full with water

I think the issue here is that typing does not cause the KI chat box to appear at all, Karkadahn.

Skeet, just to make sure... Have you gone to Gahreesen to pick up your KI? Additonally, have you perchance mapped any of the game's control keys to letters (eg WASD for movement)?

Hi guys. Been gone for quite a while, but am now back with another question. I installed the Offline Ki manually, not through Drizzle. Anyway, I am unable to do much with it, as I can't open/expand Ki. I can only open the mini Ki. I did notice however, that by pressing F2 after opening mini Ki, a blue dot appears in middle of screen. How can I expand Ki after opening mini Ki? Thoughts and help appreciated :)

Yes, I did the manual installation though. I copied files to game directory, then ran the sound decompress program in game directory. If it matters any. I am running Windows 11, and game version is Uru Complete Chronicles on Steam.
