Thanks for the comments folks, glad you like it.

Kia - All modelling, texturing and rendering was done in LightWave as I can work faster and more efficiently in it. But it could easily have been built in Blender too as there's nothing really special about the model.

Oh, very nice! Now I'm curious to see what you'll do with your shell. Do you already have a precis idea?

Also, just out of curiosity what's the polygon amount for that mesh?

Because I'll be starting the writing of my Shell from afresh, at the moment I can honestly say that I don't yet have a fixed and definite idea, just a few thoughts that need refining. It's still very much at the conceptual stage.

The poly count of the Viewer is not particularly optimised and stands at 1219, mostly quads.
