Wait, I must be missing something here, because in Myst 5, Yeesha was way too old to suffer from PMS. :)
(Although techincally, the Dni having a much longer life span she might have a slightly different biology.. but I'll, leave it at that, this discussion is becoming disturbing.. :? )

Let's just ... get back to the Age Viewer.

Deux, this is absolutely brilliant. Why, if Cyan had used this, they coulda made a whole observation Age with tons of these. Kinda like in Rime w/ Riven, you could have correlated specific crystals and colors to view certain Ages.

This would have been beastly for showing off new Ages o-O

Well the concept is kinda cool, you could have an explorer library, with a viewer next to the linking book for people to take a sneak peak at the Age they are about to visit.

That's a pretty cool idea. It would make for a nice and original fix for the lack of animated linking panels.. Plus it'd be easier to do that actual fly-by movies: all you'd need to do would be to make a panoramic 360° view of a given spot in the Age..

Even better idea!

Have Linking Panels USE the imagers!

Imagine it: A Linking Imager. Pull a lever and a book falls out of the area underneath the then-off imager. Then, the image shoots on showing a fly by of the Age. You then look down and use the book. As you Link, the Book goes back in and the imager shuts off :P
