Don't worry about lots of verts as long as:

1) they're needed to make it look good

They are. I'm not. I did.

2) they're important to the wellbeing of the age

Not really well being, but enough of them got added that I reached critical mass with them, and now they are self aware and alive.

3) you're not planning to add large expanses of terrain, and if you do, you use tricks like vis-regions

Too late, already did (didn't you see the cliffs? They are over 400 feet high)
however I used other "tricks" I've learned over the years. FPS went from only about 35-45 to 310 - 365.

Just wanted to let you all know that the new Zephyr Cove: WIP is out on the ULM.

This is not the RAD Age that we submitted. Linking in, you will find many things look and feel different. There is a lot more to explore.

Alas, this is still a WIP (Work In Progress). I wanted to spend another week or 2 on this, but I'm afraid Real Life has caught up with me, and for the next 3 to 6 weeks I'm going to be FAR too busy to even think about Age Creation. I'll still be coming to the forums, answering posts, etc. But for right now I have real life work to attend to.

Now, I could have just left it, but I've had many people want to see how far we've come on this Age, and I didn't want to leave people hanging. I've been telling them another 2 weeks, but 3 would go by and no Zephyr Cove, so I didn't think that was fair.

So open up your ULM and down load the new version. It will take a little while as things have gotten kinda big.

You can make comments in the inspection part of the Maintainer forum if you like. Keep in mind I'm WELL aware of the many problems or bugs that I'm sure you'll see in there right now. I hope after I get things done in the next 6 weeks, I can come back and finish up things.

Don't forget to change your ULM settings to: http://ulm.hbyte.net as the Maintainer ULM is down right now.

Made a minor update today. Fixed some bugs.

Bugs fixed:

Avie would swim above water.
Can walk on the ground in the mushroom garden.
Clickables in the Mushroom Garden now work.
Journals work again now.
Bocce Balls not quite so bouncy.

Dude! Kudos for including kickables that you can actually kick along in front of you in a straight line! *traumatic fishtrap, etc flashbacks*

Thank D'Lanor......I peeked at his friction and EL settings for his shells in Prad.....but I had to change the mass to make it work right. Still wish they'd interact with each other too.

Man, slow down :)

Even my shell is a ways off from being complete, mainly because of physical time restrictions and python
