Alhaman Age [ WIP SCREENS ]

Postby Johnbeyer » Sun Jul 27, 2008 8:24 am

Hi. I've been playing around in Max to create an age, and this is just for general idea bursting and testing some things , because I can't get it into Uru at this time anyway.
It's an age with alot of history and dispense hidden far away in it's carverns. It is also an age, which can be compared to the one with the big mushrooms due to it's electricity feeding.

anyway, check it out.

Nice start! I like the sort of rendering quality you have going on there, it reminds me of The Neverhood for whatever reason.

Are these cones? We want more cones :D
No, seriously, looks really great :) The rendering style is a bit strange, not Uru-like,,, more a bit Cartoon-like
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Haha, thanks more cones to come.

The rendering might look odd because it's unlightnend, i didn't use any real lightning effects. but i think it looks ok for a render.

Johnbeyer, well it's a unanimous, COOL, in this house, ok there is only two of us. Christine and I think that this is excellent WIP. I love the concept and as you say you have some texturing to do, I look forward to seeing this further. Keep up to most excellent work.

Thank you very much, I really regard any feedback on this.

It is my first time designing landscapes for a game like Uru and I am only making things in 3ds max, exporting and importing for uru is not in my knowlegde yet. Anyway, I am busy on it now and things will be neater, it might look toony but that's because of the unfinished texture work.

Thank you.

Screen updates!
