Impressive! Is this a moving stairs puzzle, or really bad geometry problems? hard to tell because it's dark. :P

So that's why you needed subworlds and IPO animations?

Interesting

Going for the Hogwarts staircase, as an actual puzzle

You will need sub worlds for that

I've got planned an even harder puzzle, like the stair labyrinth in the movie Labyrinth, but more complex -> Sub world heavy

I did not have to use the subworld function because the stairs don't move while the avatar is on them ...
There are several buttons that control some stairs , and you have to figure out how the order is to get upstairs.

So you're going with simple animation that is triggered, and then have a show/hide on the invisible colliders for the ramp over the stars and back and front of the stairs that move to stop people from trying to fall out of the world

That will work too, that is what Cyan did I think for the tram ride thing in Er'Cana at the top of the granary

Yes its a " simple " triggerd animation with a invisible plane over the stairs ( alpha map texture ) but without colliders infront and back of the stairs ...
Thought by myself , why make something invisible that will stop you from walking
The only problem still is , is that when the animation is played the framerate droppes to around 4 to 5 frames a sec and thats not really enought to play ....

If you want us to test it and tell you how it is on a different rig, just let us know :)
