Ok, thanks. Then lets dance. :P
It's on the UAM now.
The word "vegetarian" has an Indian origin and can be translated as: "the one who is too dumb to hunt".

Das Wort "Vegetarier" hat einen indianischen Ursprung und bedeutet übersetzt "Der zu blöd zum Jagen ist".

Hi all, I'd like to ask a question of you:

What do you think of the volume of the music in the pub?

I'm not honestly sure if I've got the right volume level, but, I need to know your /honest/ opinion on the volume levels.

This age was designed as a meeting/social space, so I really do need your opinions on this. =)

Since you asked ;) , a bit to load for my taste, but its always possible to turn ones own settings down you know. It's very 'D'nish' music, I almost thought Turjan was hising somewhere, playing his 'what-ever-it's-called-kind-of-D'ni-instrument' :)

Try this one. =)

This should lower the volume to a much more bearable level.

As before, let me know what you think of it. =P

Sounds better.. even 1 or 2dB lower would be perfect, IMO

Also, there is a short gap in time when the loop ends/begins. Is this avoidable in some way? Here is the .wav, in case the issue came from the mp3 header gap.

Finally, perhaps you could layer one of the cavern Amb_Loops to make it sound more D'ni-centric.. Maybe islmAbstractAmb01. Is that legal?

Hm...

.wav files still need to be converted to ogg, so, that probably won't help. =P (and back to .wav, after that >.<)
I'll have to think of what I'm doing wrong with the alcscript. =P

in theory, I might be able to layer in the ambient stuff. =)

as for specifying 1 or 2 dB lower, I'll have to fudge around with it, as i don't know the units of the values I'm working with... currently, the volume setting is at "0.3" =P

I also need to figure out how to have the sound for the Imagers, too. >.<

Yes, as long as we don't distribute the actual file and simply link to it, and as long as it doesn't conflict with RAWA's Age guidelines.
This might be very useful for pretty 'generic' ambient sounds like water, wind, and Cavern atmospheres.
