Conflict about choice of ellipsis

Hi,
It's my first time around here. I wanted to translate Riven, but in the quotes, I've found the suspension points (or ellipsis) to look different than usual, like this ". . . ". The other translations don't help, so what is the preferred grammar here? ". . . " or "..."?
