Inability to share Relto

Postby Theo1728 » Thu Jan 23, 2025 9:33 am

I've recently discovered that neither Relto Book sharing nor new Invitation Links to Relto work there anymore, and with that, DI loses Fissure Parties, Spin Parties, Ahnonay Falls Levitation Parties, Gahreesen Wall Climb Parties and Er'cana Train Crash Parties. Indeed, I don't know where I can crash an Ercana Harvester Train anymore. A bug-fix in MOULa killed it there, and over four years of active Fan Age Writing in MOULa has not seen it brought back as an easter egg. Can I can crash an Ercana Harvester Train in Open Uru's version of Uru: Deep Island? UAM Shard? Here is the Call to Arms for Maintainers to try to troubleshoot this Relto Invitation issue in Deep Island.

These used to be the kind of things that explorers did in MOULa when it seemed like they had done everything else already. When things wound down for Jaruku's Bevin, the core of the group got to work on Laki'anay for five years.

With Korov'ev's Fan Age Touring Club Expeditions, these potentially become *streamed, public-facing* content now.

I'm afraid there is currently nobody who has the time and expertise to debug issues like that -- sorry. I didn't change anything in the shard setup so I can't explain why this would stop working. Did it ever work reliably? The version of Uru used by DI was not meant for online play, after all -- it is kind of a miracle that anything works.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.
