This means that obviously Uru is not correctly installed on your computer - at least one age is missing. The fix is to do a new clean Uru installation.

That seems to do the trick! Apparently, Drizzle 27 is partially incompatible with the DI client.

It usually is not, but of course that depends on what you do. It's also generally not necessary to use Drizzle (or any other tool) on the DI client, except for converting ages from some other games.

Nice to hear it's working now

I was having the "age missing" error as well, except it was Ercana rather than Descent. It was the same install of Deep Island I've been using for a week or more, which had no problems previously... I suspect something got changed when the game was patching.

Reinstalling to fix, but still.. weird.

Since Friday of last week, all the POTS ages are checked for consistency on startup. It turned out some people copied old offline installations instead of using a clean new one, and they still had old files in there that were long reverted to their original POTS version.

Good news is I'm now able to get Uru:CC for the shard;
bad news is, due to the size of the file, I may have to wait until the start of next month to actually get it.

May I make a suggestion - If you have a Laptop You may wish to go to a Local Hospital (Emergency Room or Cafeteria), Local Hotel (Lobby or Restraunt) or the Public Library (or if you have a College or Univeristy their Student Union) and use their FREE Wi Fi to download the file

Well, that's useful information for a laptop, but mine's a desktop.

I can't load.. its telling me:

Cannot load update file

Any ideas?

Yes. It's the same problem you ask for here and here.
Again: Please move your URU-DI-Installation to an user profile folder. The server needs full access to your URU folder to update, write and delete some files.
