I uploaded the new version of kelis cover.

Here are the two side-by-side:

I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

Of the two, I think I prefer Kaelis's. Labeling the books is a good idea, but not if it's at the expense of looking like a book. Maybe we could add a stylized icon of Kerath's Arch?

Edit: something like this, maybe.

I also prefer kaelis version.
Adding text to covers of books is tricky, and if one does not make it look like a engraved text, then usually it looks bad.

For individual ages, I prefer having the text on he spine to be able to pick the right book out of the Shelf. But these are container books, and its position will rarely change, so it's not that necessary.

What do you think of Pavitra's modification?

My version really was intended as "something like this", not actually that literally. It doesn't look particularly like Kerath's Arch, for one thing. What I wanted to ask was: what do people think of the general strategy of trying to "burn" some kind of identification onto the cover?

The arch is hard to "read" because it has such low contrast with the background. Also, it doesn't have any of the shading that's on the book cover, so that it doesn't seem like it's stamped into the curved surface of the spine; it's just sort of floating in front.

Ok.....so I think I'm not a good designer for things like that.

But here is one more (last) try.
