Bug in Minkata

Postby tangara » Sun Oct 10, 2010 6:00 pm

I have no legs in Minkata. I had to do the age with /spawn.

That's a bug that was successfully converted from MOUL ;-) . The spawn point seems to be a bit too low, so you sink into the ground. Just do "/jump 15" to get onto the surface.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

What do you mean when you say : "That's a bug that was successfully converted from MOUL"... Shall I do a conversion of MOUL with Drizzle ? I thought that with DI, the conversion was automatic.
Ok for /jump 15, I had not thought. Thanks.

Lol, no, I meant that this bug is present in MOUL, too - and that the conversion is so precise that it even converts bugs

DI uses the MOUL/Myst5/Crowthistle/Hexisle/Mqo/ModifiedPots files that Drizzle creates. I'll try to move the starting point up a bit for Drizzle29.

I have days like that too.
Only it's not in Uru.

Ok, but then, why is there not the same problem in Minkata with Uru offline with Drizzle28 ?

As I recall, some people did have that problem offline. So online the problem is either the extra lag, or due to how paging is a little different. When making this change (I did it today), I noticed that there are two LinkInPointDefault spawnpoints in different pages in Minkata, with the same x and y coords, but one has a lower z coord. So I've raised them both up a foot for Drizzle29.

Thanks a lot, Dustin! Would you mind committing the change so we can test it?
