I've never tried the Deep Island shard since I didn't own URU: CC. but I have played around on the Gehn Shard.

Noticed that gog.com has the game on sale (cheap), so I'll download soon. Will Deep Island run on the GOG version?

Oh, thanks a bunch of posting about this!
I only have a netbook right now, which means everything must be downloaded from a site, I can't install anything via CD. I've been itching to get into DI, so now that I can install Uru:CC, I'm looking very forward to nosing around. Merry Christmas to me, you could say
