Im not sure but I think FlyMode uses up to many resources in the Live version which may be why they keep it turned off, however /jump 50 or any other number (the number representing feet) is always a fun alternative.

Its the Realist who see's the glass is half full with air, half full with water

Good evening,

The flymode isn't available at all on Deep Island; there's nothing you can do.

However on your URU:CC offline install you can enable it by pressing the Esc Key. Then use the arrow and/or the "+" and the "-" keys, or even the strafe keys to move around.

As Karkadann said, in most ages (but not all), you can use the "/jump" command.

If you type /jump 10 and you use your mouse to just move a little bit forward then hit the Enter Key, you will do a parabolic jump. It can be useful in some situations. Remember that /jump X where X is a number will just get you up or down (given you type a negative number). You cannot go over 1,608. If you do you will relto out before touching back the ground. If you want to stay still somewhere very high or very low, type /float before typing /jump X, that way you'll stay at X feet above or below ground. Typing /nofloat will release your avatar.

When I said not all ages I mean that some ages have been locked by the demand of their creator for whatever reason in their mind (avoid cheating, more realistic, etc.). Often the following rule of thumb works: the more puzzles there are in a given age, the more chance the age will be a locked one.

Is there a list of commands for Deep Island? I never realized you could do those mentioned above.

There you go ... :P

Of course, not all apply to the online DI shard version like Admin and Fly Mode commands etc., but most of all else ... Enjoy ... :)

Hi everyone

Thankyou for yr responses. I will try the float and jump modes. I have flymode enabled in Uru CC. I just wanted to see if there are any differences between Uru CC and Deep Island. I also wanted to see where I would go if I flew out of the bucket in Teledahn that I keep getting stuck in. I received help in my post on getting my avvie out the bucket by using /spawn.

Hi

Can you move forward or backward in float mode? I tried it but I am stuck in the one place. I tried /jump 100 and managed to get myself very high up in the air however I could not get myself down again and my Relto book had the swirly black picture so I exited DI. I will have to play some more.

Regards
Philip :) :) :)

Oh sorry... I forgot to mention an annoying issue about the /float command. You cannot unfortunately move using the /float command and everything is stuck like the Relto book. So first, you need to release yourself by typing /nofloat then Relto out.

About your previous post:

There are no "absolute" differences between the two.

You can see differences in a certain way if you consider that some ages in Deep Island are locked ages (I explained it somewhere yesterday on this forum board) where those are not locked in your URU CC install. You can also see differences because in Deep Island the admin commands are reserved to Diafero who is the Admin where on your URU CC you are the admin de facto

Cool, the questions have all been answered :)

I just have one thing to add: There's also "/help", which will list all KI commands in-game.
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.
