Now I'm able to log in although it's more time I find my way to my bed :roll:

Adding support for 301 would not have been the problem - but HTTPS... gosh, no, please not. I'm happy I was able to avoid that.
The hash is salted, so it's not as bad as it sounds. But of course, The More Crypto, The More Better (TM) ;-)
Oh, and, of course, that stuff is transmitted unencrypted between Client and Shard anyway. There's nothing sent on the wire to GoW, that did not come in on the wire from the client.
