Shorah,
first: sorry for my english.
I changed my computer system from Win 7 to Win 10 (hardware is the same).
now I'm not able to open Deep Island. There are different problems:
on start i had to lower down the graphic settings.
Than i got only a black screen.
Does anyone has some informations about win 10 and DI?

Thanks and greetings
B'Shon

Any change to update your video driver to a Windows 10 version already?
Otherwise try activating the Windowed option in de Graphics setting.
With a Windows 10 AMD Video driver that works for me in 1600 x 1200 Screen Resolution mode

The png shows the actual settings.
Windowed option shows the same black screen.
in the past my screen resolution was 1920x1080 (with urustarter.ini, acc. post from diafero).
One more point i find out:
NVidia Setting tool shows only 3D settings; in the past there were Video sets and more.
Is the main fault 50cm in front of the computer?

So, you have an Nvidia card but 3D hardware only shows an Intel card?
Sometimes, when a new Nvidia driver comes out, my graphic card stops working; I have to turn off my laptop and remove the battery to do a hard reset of the card to make it work again. Maybe it’s the same problem?

Did you install the latest NVIdea driver for Windows 10? (July 2015)

I checked all my drivers. They are ok.
@ JanB
Nvidia driver is from Aug 2015.
@ Korovev
I removed the accu. No changes.

I changed different settings. Nothing. I'm at the end of my Latin.

You are not alone B'Shon with the Win 10 problem ?
Everything was working fine until I upgraded to Win 10 :(
Not only do I get a black screen, but the sound plays choppy.
I get a " Main Branch built" error. Then it freezes and crashes ?
One puzzle to me is Moula URU cavern runs fine ?
Both were working fine before on my WIN 8, nothing was changed
except for the WIN 10 upgrade.
I also don't have the option of: HD Graphics 3000 [REF], on my list is
HD Graphics 4000 [REF] ?
Still working on the problem :)

Noticed this thread suggesting to completely remove the drivers and then reinstalling them?

Hi There. I had the same problem with windows 10 but found that by turning the [Full Scene Anti-Aliasing] option OFF in the Graphics TAB just before you press PLAY seemed to cure the problem. Otherwise run it in a window which is not the best option but does work.

Karel :)

Thanks Karel! :) Good
Putting out the Anti Aliasing option and running full screen in the highest possible mode works for me too with the AMD Windows 10 driver.
It works OK also on my local URU game.
Even on my old Flight Simulator X game settings it improves significantly the performance when I unselected the Anti Aliasing option.
