Shorah,
i had a power surge the other night and the next day i tried to log into the DI Shard. it wouldn't open,
the message it gives me is: the age dat/AhnySphere02.age is not installed ,but required to log in. Uru cannot be started.
can anyone help me, please? this happened to me once before and i had help but now it has happened again. i uninstalled DI and re-installed both UU Complete Chronicles and the patcher, and it still gives me that same message.

If Ahnonay is missing -- are you sure you installed all of Uru Complete Chronicles, i.e., including the Path of the Shell extension?

If there was something specific you did that made it work, it would be great if you could share this here in case others are running into the same problem in the future.

Nita's installation looked a bit adventurous. So we wiped everything, did a fresh install, that's it. So nothing out of the ordinary.

I have the exact same problem as the original poster, Sphere 2 missin...

I'm having issues with the installation of this Deep Island... I followed the instructions https://guildofmessengers.org/how-to-pl ... deepisland

And get this window "uplaoded as attachment".

Shows not responding and then later it shuts down that update window.
I'v relaunched twice and same

Any help would be appreciated.


This is what took place with the install/update:
I followed above instructions from https://guildofmessengers.org/how-to-play/#deepisland
Going through the Update progress now. 11:22am
11:28am now shows "Loading existing data..." but the bar below that is greyed
The bar below that "File Progress" is all blue
11:37 I came back to PC and the window for the update was gone.
So I launched it again.
And again it shows the same status as of 11:28am
but now the window shows URU Setup not responding....

I have tried and tried to reinstall Deep Island but I get the same message that dat/AhnySphere02.age is missing! I have followed instructions, creating a fresh install of Uru Ages Beyond Myst including path of the shell, made a separate folder of it all, plus the patch but every time I try to reinstall, I get the same message! I've been missing from Deep Island for months I've tried posting on here before as the installer wouldn't accept my login credentials. I asked help as to why. So in the end, since messages weren't answered, I created another account, this time calling myself Rebekah, since it wouldn't let me use Kezzia as that's one of my avatars & it must've remembered that. Dulcamara you have helped in the past. I'd really appreciate your help now to reinstall the Deep Island & be back amongst you all. Thanks so very much. I don't know where this particular file can be & can't access individual files like this in the installer. Thanks once again.

The patcher contains 4 files:

• Uru.exe
• msvcp60.dll
• plClientSetup.cfg
• serverconfig.ini

Just to make sure, are you certain you’ve replaced the existing ones inside the Uru folder?

If Uru.exe is inside a folder (possibly named “di-patcher”) inside the Uru folder, it won’t be able to find the game files.
