It stutters and fails at Ubisoft screen - fails to tray icon. Clicking on the icon gets same results.

A clean restart used to fix this but not any more.

I still can't login. I'm locked out.

I need HELP!!!

It's hit or miss. 6 days out of 7 I cannot get in. Also:
WIn 11 24H2 "some Ubisoft games are now documented as not responding. Ubisoft has posted temporary workarounds for some of the issues and is working on long-term fixes for the performance problems." Those long term fixes probably won't apply to us which may mean trouble ahead

Occasionally I get a “Failed to download one or more files” error at login, and I’m unable to enter. I haven’t seen this error in weeks, but today it was back; others weren’t affected though. I found a possible clue in the patcher.0.elf file:

The problem showed up again today.

I’m aware of the previous thread, but none of the solutions worked for me: the issue shows up only occasionally, so the game files should be good; I have plenty of space on the disk, and it’s not a permissions issue.

The trouble definitely seems to be related to CoverImage_Puput.jpg, as the patcher.0.elf file stopped at the same point as before. Copying it from the offline Drizzled Uru folder seems to fix it, for now.

I’ve set it to read only, so the patcher won't be able to delete it again; we'll see if that can be a long term fix.

I can't log in because of this missing file.
