The encryption keys are determined by the server, so depending on what Dustin used as default keys, those files might not be compatible.

IMO, it would be good for the server to take plaintext files, encrypt them, and keep those temporary encrypted files around as long as it is running; rather than depending on files being pre-encrypted.
Hopefully Talcum won't change the encryption keys every version ;)

Ah, good point, I had forgotten about that. I’ll check and try re-encrypting the files or making Talcum use the same key as when they were obtained.

Ah yes, it's only about 7MB, and it will be often requested, so it might as well be kept in memory. I guess I was still in the frame of mind from dealing with the regular dataserver files, which I wanted to make sure was light on resource usage. (I.e. not load the whole files, etc.) I'll just have the Authserver load and encrypt them on startup then. On the todo list it is!
