I spent a fair amount of time trying to get the Bahro avatar to work, and it appears like the engine is hard-coded to allow two basic avatar types: male and female(even the custom avatars belong to one of these two) and Moul added a third type and modified the engine accordingly. I am not certain of this, but that is what it looks like to me.

So does that mean that at some point it may become possible? Or that it will never hapen?

It will become possible when Cyan releases the MOUL plasma engine.
With the current POTS plasma engine, this is not possible.

Uru is now crashing for me whenever I try to open the dam on Teledahn (where Shroomie comes in if you leave it open). This has happened twice in a row for me now, I thought at first it was a freak exception, but it doesn't seem so now. There's no stack dump at all, I just get the message "Main Branch - Built <whenever the date was> has stopped working." followed by it closing. Is anyone else having this problem?

Hello Everyone,

First, let me say thank you to everyone who has made Drizzle, ULM, the Offline KI and all the wonderful community created ages. I am really enjoying the ages written by everyone. :P I am even beginning to learn Blender.

However, I have found a new "bug". I went to Pahts and flew around, even ran on the tops of the walls (I know, not very respectful, sorry). I then linked to the City. Lo and behold, shell 427 (ball and hole) is now sitting in the harbor. It seems to have a permanence problem. It doesn't show up in any other age (I tried a bunch of "big" ages including Minkata). It was still there after quitting and linking back through the Nexus or my book on my bookshelf. I can even fly out to it and play in it under the water. Please see the captures below. Still, definitely a bug.

Sincerely,
Gurev

No, it is not a bug. Due to the way shells are loaded this behavior is fully expected when using flymode in Pahts. If you don't want it to happen, don't fly there.

Heh, it's partially Uru's fault for the way to loads in and out data. Also, Pahts has so many pages, that some of them wrap around their sequence prefix :P Anyway, just restarting Uru will get rid of it. In the meantime, enjoy the floating dock in Ae'gura ;)

And as for Greg's problem, that sounds like it might be unrelated to the Offline-KI. I'm not sure though.

In the next few days I'll try with a new avatar and see what happens there when I pull the switch. If it is just the one avatar, it looks like I don't get to see Shroomie. (darn whale broke the lever)

Greg, which OS do you use? There are problems in Teledahn when using Windows 7. You can fix them by using compatibility mode for Windows XP - which will however break the linking book from Relto to Direbo and from MOUL K'veer to Myst V Myst. These can be fixed by removing direboWithAlpha.bik and mystWithAlpha.bik from your avi folder (Windows 7 doesn't seem to like the bik files as soon as it is in compatibility mode).
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

So, might it be possible to change the Bahro avatar to be classified as one of the two types? That sounds easier to me than trying to change the engine to allow a third type.
