Hi, I recently reinstalled U:CC, reconverted all files, downloaded OK 2.7.2. I think the Jalak controls worked before(?). Now they just beep at me. Any ideas?

Confirmed, same for me too.

Argh, that was the old UruPython bug regarding one file being called the way another file starts: I had "Jalak.py" and "JalakJournal.py" so uruPythjon skipped the first one . Will be fixed in version 2.7.3, thanks for reporting!
