It is a good question indeed. Could explain some problems other people have had.

Dustin will have the last word on this, but I always converted files from MOUL and MystV over my current POTS, never bothering to start afresh.

Okay, yeah, I've never had to do a fresh installation; I just keep using the same one and using the new Drizzle overtop of it.
