The Plasma engine uses DirectX, and at this point it's starting to seem silly trying to force the data to render correctly using OpenGL. As such, I'm re-writing all my rendering code in Direct3D. This has necessitated a move to MFC for the entire GUI.
Since the code is now going to be windows-only, I'm also going to move everything to an exclusively Visual Studio development process. All build files will be native VS2008 solutions, and the source will be hosted using Team System.
