I think if you link to an Age that doesn't exist Uru just shows a black screen with no progress bars. I know I've seen that when I've mistyped Age names in /link.
Maybe that's what it does offline? I am quite sure I once saw that pink screen age, and I could even link out of it. Uru just had nothing to display.

Will this version of Drizzle do the things you say is needed http://www.the-deep-island.de/uru-ages/ ... le27b3.jar or is this just some other drizzle version?
That is a beta version, I don't think you should use it. Better wait for Dustin to do an actual release.

I downloaded the new KI and it ran wonderfully, but as I was leaving my session I got the "Main Branch stopped working" error.

I just tried to run the game and I keep getting this:

Exception type: Access violation
Call stack (14 levels):
0x00869D54
0x00475CB6
0x00475ED7
0x0051058A

0x0083EC17
0x0069A0CE
0x005D198D

<end>
Is it possible to roll back my KI to the previous release?

You can install version 3.2 again using Drizzle, and see if that helps.

This looks more like a vault issue to me however. Could you try to create a new avatar and see if it starts again then?

You're right. Looks like it is a vault issue. Is there a fix?

No, that is a bug in the client we can do nothing about :(

I thought that if you used /link to a nonexistent Age it wouldn't let you link at all... Or did something change in the last couple versions of Drizzle/Offline KI?

It's taken me a few tries sometimes on some of the fan Ages to get the spelling right =/

That's exactly what I mean - Offline KI does further checks before linking to make sure you don't end up in black or Desktop age :D

I didn't think Installing the KI in the UAM shard was necessary. I still have my offline version of Uru CC with Drizzle and the Offline KI 3.3. If I ever get around to completing either of the two or three ages I was working on I'll just use that. Also I noticed as far as the other ages are concerned I can download the fan ages threw the Nexes, the GT ages I can get threw the links in the caverns but Myst 5. CT, MQ and stuff like that are unavailable I assume by design

But for now I think I'll stick with a My virgin Uru CC and the UAM patch and maybe a few GT ages

Thanks

Myst V, CT, and MagiQuest require converting through Drizzle to work. You should be able to use the same conversion as you do for the offline version and have it work. (or that's how I remember it at least)
