/dance2 command of the Offline Key

Postby Toki » Tue Jul 10, 2012 6:05 pm

Hello!
Please help me little. ;)

Is there the person who experienced the bug such as follows?
Or, is there the person who saw these acted normally?

1) /dance2, /crossarms → A head and the arm of dancing (cross an arms) avatar disappear when they execute this command (only male avatar). :o

2) There is not the spiral design of the spiral cloth in the wall of Bahro Cave of Eder Delin and Eder Tsogal. :(

My PC is Windows XP and Windows 7. The same phenomenon is caused both.

1) This is because the male avatar on MOUL is too different from the PotS one. These two animations are broken. Female avatars work better, although their eyes often act weird.

2) By "spiral design", you mean the spiral paintings on the wall you have to click on ? It is supposed to be there...

As far as I remember, the caves looked correct... do you have a screenshot demonstrating what you mean?
I prefer e-mails to "diafero arcor de" (after adding the at and the dot) over PMs.

These looked from Bahro Cave of Eder Tsogal.
I see it equally from Bahro Cave of Eder Delin.

 No, that wasn't what I was talking about. If I remember correctly when these animations are played the eyes look down in an unnatural manner (I should check this again).

About the spiral: it looks like the texture is missing from the PRP, which means it wasn't there before conversion or was lost during conversion (I think Drizzle simply messed up with these files, and it doesn't happen often). I would suggest:
- open Drizzle and go to Advanced→Manual Conversion→MOUL, and re-convert the MOUL file named LiveBahroCaves_District_Textures.prp (make sure the destination directory is your Uru folder, otherwise it won't work).
- or simply reconvert all the MOUL files.
Oh, and the Bahro Cave Age is the same whether you link from Delin or Tsogal.

Thank you for teaching it clearly carefully. :)

I tried it at once.
This file existed.
When I am going to re-convert this file, it becomes the error.
(My procedure may be wrong?) :|
I tried it in various ways, but did not go well.

Mmm. :?

What do you mean by "becomes the error" ? Can you see any error message in Drizzle or is the texture still missing when you link there ?
That's quite strange since usually Drizzle converts this file correctly.

Also, can you see the symboles when you link from a pod or Minkata or Er'cana/Ahnonay ?

Sirius, I thank for your kindness. :)
My explanation is incomprehensible, and I'm sorry.

The cause of the error was designation of the wrong folder.
By the designation of a right folder, Drizzle acted normally.
The Spiral was displayed by the method that you taught definitely by the wall of the Bahro cave.

However …
The whole body of the avatar for Male was not displayed properly this time.
(Unfortunately I did not store an image at that time.)
The figure is different from the thing when an avatar for male dances '/dance 2'.

Yes. These symbols looks right.

Because my English is insufficient, it is worry whether it reaches you definitely.

Good to hear it's working ! :)

Parts of the avatar disappearing ? Sometimes it's a bug with the way Uru handles objects that should not be seen. Usually moving the camera around fixes the issue (but not always).

Don't worry, it's fine. I'm French so my English is not perfect either ;) .
