Hurray!!! <-- That's the 2nd one today
I finally succeeded to get Drizzle to work just like uruskydiving.exe earlier
Thanks to Wam who put me on the right track as to what was the issue.
Since I'm not sure which Java I should use, I followed this recommendation from the official website Java.com: "in case of uncertainty, install both 32 bits & 64 bits on your system". I did that because I have 4 browsers on my PC and I'm sure some are 64 bits, some might be 32 bits.
Instructions to use Drizzle correctly on
Windows 10 64 bits system:
1) Install a fresh URU:CC game (from CD or more easier, from GOG.com)
2) Make sure you put your folder far far ... far away from c:\program files\
3) Install the latest Java version(s) as of today jre-8u65-
windows-i586 (32 bits) & jre-8u65-
windows-x64 (64 bits), preferably both. You have to match your browser(s) with java. If you have a 64 bits OS, it doesn't matter, it's the browser (32 bits or 64 bits).
4) Download Drizzle 31 at Sourceforge.net:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/drizzle/?source=directory5) Change the server to
http://www.the-deep-island.de/uru-ages/6) Select your POTS folder (where you put it far far... far away from c:\program files\)
That's it! It will work
