Wow!!! and just just breathtakingly, stunningly awesome, Doobes ... :P

This community is time and again delivering the evidence that if Cyan and thus our community itself wasn't licence and otherwise as restricted as they are, Uru resp. MOULa could be restored and transformed into an absolutely extraordinary and magnificent environment and world resp. D'ni universe, a whole new or different experience and adventure ... :)

I also like it as it is, I see you even applied beautiful shadows and gave your best with the lighting as most often and rightly so admonished and criticized by our experts here ... 8-)

Way to go, Doobes, it is nice to finally have some impressions of your creations and talents, and thanks for sharing this ... :P

@Tweek: We actually revised the yellow color 3 or 4 times. We tried to get away from the pubs existing yellow, especially upstairs. There was some unsightly mildew/mold growing up there which exists only in GoMe version of the pub.* The pictures are at least 2 versions out of date. We're hoping for a closed-Beta release sometime soon.

(*Nev's Note: And not to be critical, but the GoMe logo is reversed in the texture up there, plus we have the GoG symbol on our banners.... :P )

Yeah, getting that color right has been a bit of a challenge. On one hand, I don't want to make the yellow so powerful as to make one's eyes bleed. :P Plus, after 200+ years of neglect, the color is bound to fade a bit, right?

On the other hand, the color does need to be pleasing to the eye and not sickly. However, everything is still very much a WIP (although I'm starting to finalize many things), so who knows!

ANYWAY, to steer us back on topic, to our GoW programmers: would it be possible to add such sitting mods to Gahreesen and other Ages without modifying Cyan's files like what was done with physical objects such as the stained glass on Gehn shard? I know the KI thing would be more complicated and probably not possible unless Cyan gives permission to alter things (not sure on that though).

As your presentation of the Guild pub looks very much restored, clean and also completely rebuilt, your criterion of 200+ of neglect with a fading coloration doesn't apply anymore, Doobes ... :P

So, I'd agree with Tweek as for choosing a more pleasing for the eye yellow color, as you've called it yourself, and change it a bit to a more warm yellow-ish or even soft and warm golden hue, maybe pastel shade or watery or even slightly gradient, and why not additionally making the beautiful floor and table tops more shiny, similar to K'veer, and thus presenting the whole even more classy as it already is ... :D

It should not be too much of a problem to add the sitting regions to a new PRP in the correct locations on a technical level (but I've not tried it so there could be some 'gotcha' I'm forgetting). We added new regions for the treb book in the GehnAdditions nb01 page.

Despite the other issues with the Cyan pubs, I think the slightly golden hue worked well. Anyway, to follow on with Janaba's suggestion... you could always do even more work for this and model the pub in various states of restoration and slowly improve it via SDL! ;)

That's a lot of extra work for one person (or even a small group) so I won't be extraordinarily disappointed if you don't do it. :lol:

I just think that it would be interesting to make a KI upgrade, even if it does nothing.

What would an upgraded KI be for if it does nothing? :?
It's like saying "Hey, let us reexport the whole MOULa. It does nothing, but the players can download 3 GB and it seems as we have done something."

I promise, that's on my list, boss! Can you unchain me from the computer now? :P

I agree with Christopher. If we're going to be messing with the KI at all, it should BE for something worthwhile, not preparing for something worthwhile. I'm not all that informed programming-wise, and even I can tell messing with the KI code isn't just a day in the park. Improving the chat functions, for instance, would be something worth that kind of trouble. ;)

It would allow for future updates (rooms that could require a higher KI level). It wouldn't actually do nothing, it just wouldn't activate anything new yet.
